PodcastAnalyzer support

Need help with PodcastAnalyzer? Email us at support@magicboxsoft.com and we’ll get back to you.

PodcastAnalyzer is a macOS app for understanding public podcast RSS feeds. It is coming soon.

Common questions

How do I add a podcast feed?

Paste the public RSS feed URL into PodcastAnalyzer and choose Add. The app downloads the feed, reads the episodes, and creates a local snapshot you can inspect later.

Can I search for podcasts instead of pasting a URL?

Yes. PodcastAnalyzer is planned to support search through public podcast directories, then let you pick a result and add its public RSS feed to your library.

What metrics does PodcastAnalyzer compute?

PodcastAnalyzer focuses on practical feed-level trends: episode cadence, episode length distribution, publishing consistency, and growth trends from feed snapshots captured over time.

Where is my data stored?

Your feed list, snapshots, and reports stay local on your Mac. PodcastAnalyzer does not upload your podcast data to Magic Box servers.

Can I export reports?

Yes. PodcastAnalyzer is planned to export reports as CSV and JSON so you can use the data in spreadsheets, scripts, or your own archive.

Why will a feed not parse?

Some feeds are temporarily unavailable, malformed, blocked by the host, or missing required RSS fields. Try opening the feed URL in a browser, check that it returns RSS or XML, then refresh it in PodcastAnalyzer.

Reporting bugs

Please include your macOS version, PodcastAnalyzer version, the feed URL if it is public, and the exact error message you saw. A short example of the feed or exported report is helpful when you can share it.
